The 3rd Annual A.E.R. Walk with Style Gala
to benefit CancerCare

New York, NY — An enthusiastic crowd of young philanthropists braved the weather to enjoy an evening of champagne, chocolate and fashion at the 3^rd Annual A.E.R Walk with Style Gala on March 31 at Hudson Terrace in New York City. The event, presented by CancerCare and the Tesla Group founded by CancerCare Junior Committee member Ahlilah Longmire, raised more then $10,000 in support of CancerCare's free services for people affected by cancer.

The Champagne and Chocolate VIP reception hosted by the CancerCare Junior Committee and Sports Illustrated model Julie Henderson kicked off the night's festivities. Guests enjoyed chocolate from Luxx Chocolat, Roni-Sue Chocolates, and Valrhona, an open bar compliments of SVEDKA, and light hors d'œuvres and CancerCare cupcakes provided by Artistic Events.

The evening's philanthropic cause came to the forefront amidst the festivities as the hosts took the stage. Michael Clayton of the New York Giants shared how working with resilient children affected by cancer had touched him, and Lisalla Montenegro and Julie Henderson reiterated the importance of organizations like CancerCare. CancerCare social worker Kristy Case spoke about the free services CancerCare offers to individuals and families facing cancer, such as counseling, support groups, and educational workshops.

The star-studded evening continued with a performance by MIXT Dance and a fashion show featuring collections from designers Ali Ro and Hyden Yoo.

The CancerCare Junior Committee thanks everyone for making the A.E.R. Walk with Style a truly special occasion.
